JAWAB KEGELISAHAN AKADEMIK, PRODI PGMI ADAKAN BIMTEK KTI BERBASIS RESEACRH AND DEVELOPMENT BAGI MAHASISWA

Guna mendukung sistem tata pamong dan budaya organisasi, prodi PGMI IAIN Palopo senantiasa konsisten mengedepankan prinsif akademis. Hal tersebut, dibuktikan dengan melakukan diskusi ilmiah sebelum menetapkan kebijakan.

Seperti halnya sebelum diterapkannya research end developmen sebagai payung penelitian di program studi ini. Pihak prodi yang dinahkodai oleh Dr. Edhy Rustan, M.Pd. menghadirkan semua dosen dan pemangku kebijakan terkait. Selain dosen dilingkup program studi, diskusi tersebut juga dihadiri para Doktor yang berpengalaman dalam menyusun disertasi sesuai topik yang dibahas.

Untuk melahirkan pakem tersendiri dalam penulisan karya ilmiah mahasiswa PGMI, Dr. Syahraeni, M.Hum. tampil dengan memaparkan pengalaman dan keilmuannya dalam melakukan penelitian pengembangan di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Selain itu hadir juga Dr. Kartini, M.Pd. alumni UIN Malang, Dr. Andi Ajiguna alumni UNJ, dan para kandidat doktor yang sementara melakukan penelitian pengembangan dikampus ternama lainnya.   

Hasil dari penyamaan persepsi yang dilakukan tersebut merekomendasi: Research and development perlu diprioritaskan untuk menunjang pencapaian kompetensi lulusan pendidik yang profesional; Sistematika penelitian pengembangan yang dianggap cocok dan layak untuk tingkatan S-1. Sitematika tersebut dikaji berdasarkan teori serta konsep yang ada untuk memperkaya rumusan panduan penulisan skripsi ditingkat fakultas dan institusi. Selain itu, gaya penulisan perlu mengikuti perkembangan teknologi seperti penulisan catatan kaki dan daftar pustaka dengan mandeley, uji similaritas dengan turnitin, serta mewajibkan penulisan artikel di unggah pada media yang terindeks google scholar.  

Untuk mengawal hal itu ketua prodi memandang perlu melakukan bimbingan teknis kepada mahasiswa dan dosen. Dengan semangat perubahan tersebut program studi PGMI berencana melakukan keesokan harinya. (ER)
